Mise en Scene and Audience Theory

Mise en Scene is the arrangement of everything in a scene. Props, actors, lighting, decor, costume. It is a french term and means "everything that has been put into the scene".
Bulmer and Katz's gratification theory suggests that media users play an important role in choosing and using media.
